Rare Rewards of Ramazan

“Those who spend their wealth in the Cause of Allah and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” [al-Baqarah 2:262]

The forgiveness of Allah (SWT).

Islamic holy scriptures and Muslim scholars exhorted Muslims to be the givers of charity and be merciful towards their needy brothers, sisters, elders, oppressed and orphans. The best time to fulfil the Zakath obligation is the month of Ramzan, Our Beloved Prophet (SAS) has said

“Ramadan is an honourable and blessed month, and the rewards for generosity are multiplied in it.”

According to one hadith Allah Subhanahu Taala likes a person who is a fasiq (sinner) but  generous in giving charity at the same time He dislikes  who spends days and nights in prayers but stingy by nature. Zakath safeguards the wealth of the giver and charity (Sadqua) saves him or her from impending disasters.

Blessed are the people whom Allah Subhanahu Tala has  blessed with wealth and the month of Ramzan.

There are millions of Muslims across the world, who do not have shelter over their heads and go to sleep without food. In disaster prone and war ravaged countries there are countless zero-food children,  Isn’t it obligatory on the part of the Muslims who are bestowed with wealth to Thank Allah Subhanahu Taala, what can be the best way to Please Allah (ST) than offering charity to the needy Muslims during the month of Ramzan. Allah Subhanahu Taala says “Ramadan is the month of giving and mercy, and in it, Allah blesses the believers with forgiveness and being saved from Hellfire”.

Abundant blessings  of Allah Subhanahu Taala during Ramzan

Propher SAS said fasting is the zakath of your health (this means Allah Subhanahu taala blesses the observers of fasting with good health) and paying zakath  safeguards the wealth of the Zakath givers.

“Seek Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadan.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

The blessed night called lailatul-qader carries enormous blessings of Allah Subhanahu Taala  for the Muslims, whatever good deeds are done on this night carries the blessings (weightage) of one thousand months. Ramzan offerings and givings in the last 10 days have immeasurable benefits.
